The Roadmap for Eradicating Poverty Beyond Growth is a two-year project led by the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights. Once finished, the Roadmap will present a catalogue of concrete policy measures that governments, international agencies, and other stakeholders can implement that will place human rights, care, and well-being at the centre of the economy, all within planetary boundaries.
The development of the Roadmap is an ongoing, live project, co-constructed with a broad alliance of UN agencies, governments, civil society organisations, trade unions, grassroots movements, and academic experts from across the world.
The policies shown here are all those currently under consideration by this alliance for inclusion in the final Roadmap, to be presented to the UN in 2026. No selection or prioritisation of policies has been made at this stage.
